Ask couples which part of their entire coverage they enjoyed most, and a surprising number say the pre-wedding shoot — not the wedding day itself. It's the only time in the whole process where it's genuinely just the two of you, no guest list, no logistics, no eleven functions to get through. Just a few hours to be playful or quietly romantic in front of a camera that already knows how to make you look like you're in a film.
Captured before the wedding rush begins — giving you timeless portraits that feel authentic, effortless, and cinematic.
We start with a conversation about who you actually are as a couple — how you met, what a normal weekend looks like together, whether you're more playful or reserved on camera. That shapes everything from location to shot concepts.
We've shot sessions that look like golden-hour editorial stories and others that are closer to a documentary of a couple cooking breakfast — both photograph beautifully when they're honest to the couple.
From heritage monuments to sun-kissed beaches
Everything carefully planned so your shoot experience is seamless and relaxed.
Pre-wedding shoots typically happen one to three months before the wedding — early enough for invitations, close enough that your appearance still matches your wedding day.
We plan around specific lighting needs, including early morning or late afternoon golden-hour sessions to make sure you look stunning.
We advise on outfit choices that photograph well against your chosen locations — certain colors and fabrics read very differently outdoors versus in studio light. Most couples bring two to three outfit options and we help decide the order and pairing with locations on the day.
Beyond invitations, many couples use pre-wedding images for reception welcome boards, entrance displays, or a slideshow played during the event itself. If you have plans like these, let us know during planning so we can shoot with those specific formats and crops in mind.
Pre-wedding photography can be added to any full wedding package, or booked entirely on its own. Either way, you'll work with the same crew quality, artistic director, and editing standard as our full wedding coverage.
